Hello There... Mr. Caterpillar

Several weeks ago, my sister pointed out a group of baby caterpillars located on my Mom's parsley. Over the past week we forgot about the caterpillars. Today, during lunch my Mom pointed out how big they have grown and eaten up half her parsley. I was so fascinated by the little creatures that I couldn't help but to snap a few shots of them.  My sister Charlottle said "If you listen you can hear them munching." I didn't hear them, but perhaps I wasn't listening close enough.

Although I love summer and seeing the caterpillars and all of Gods amazing little creatures, I am overwhelmingly excited about fall and cool weather. I'm ready for jeans, hoodies, scarves and boots as well as the smell, the crisp air and beauty of the leaves. I personally love all the seasons. Their is not one that I love more then the rest. Thank you God for all the seasons.

Easter :)

Here are some pics from Easter. I love Easter.. such a beautiful time of the year. One of the things that just annoys we about Easter is the Easter bunny... because that's not the reason we have Easter its because of Jesus Christ our saviour who died for our sin and wickedness given us eternal life with him.

Sorry I haven't posted lately.. but I've been really sick.. so just pray for me that I will get better and that I want have to have surgery.

Spring Spring Spring

I just love Spring....seeing all the flowers and the warm sun shining down on you, pulling out the short sleeves and flip flops. The weather here has been crazy for quite a few days it was in the 80's and now its in the 60's.
Well I haven't posted recently because of Life Action visiting my church. I have enjoyed it so much, tonight will be there last night and I have grown very close to some of them and it is going to be hard saying bye. I am so thankful for technology so you can keep in contact with people all the way across the country. On Saturday I was at church from 9-5:30 and I had a ball.  From 9-12:30 we did bible study then we went out to the gym and played dodge ball and basketball. I love dodge ball but basketball Isn't my thing, if you know what I mean, so my friend and I watched the guys play. My Friend Hannah looked at me with a disgusted face and said "Ugh I have never smelt something so appauling as sweaty guys". I couldn't help but to laugh not just because what she said was funny but her face exspression was hilarious. Then dodge ball came and The team I was on creamed the other team we were beast out there. hahaha I wasn't scared of getting hit because thats just part of the game, but I happened to get hit right in the face and it hurt. I just laughed then took the ball I had been holding and threw it at the person who had hit me and hit them in the back of the face. Other then that I didnt get hit the rest of the game.

In hope everyone has had a great week so far.

Saying Goodbye....

Saturday night at 11:30 my Grandfather passed away. It was hard watching him die those past two days. Looking at him and seeing the cold lifeless body lay there . It was sad, very sad seeing him gone and how he had passed so fast. Today they came and got the furniture from his old room. I walked into his room day and said "GOODBYE". It was hard but I did. Each day I miss him more and more. I miss his presence more than anything but I also miss how every morning when I walked by his room he would say '' Good morning darling, love you". I woke up his morning and realized how much I really loved him and truly missed him. As I walked by his room this morning, I stood in the hall way waiting and listening for his voice, his words and when he said that how it just ment so much to me. So now I say..........Goodbye.

Grandfather

Late October my Grandfather was diagnosed with lung caner. The doctors said it would kill him if he had to do cemo. My parents prayed and in late December we brought him to our house to live. Now he is here upstairs in my brothers old room, he's bedriden. He's been with us for seven weeks now. I have to confess that I wasn't excited when he came to live with us because we can't leave him home alone someones always gotta be with him. My life has completely changed, I dont mind it anymore I'm used to it. I actually enjoy going and talking to him everyday, our talks are nice I've gotten really close to him these past weeks. Day's pass and I realize how everyday he get's weaker and weaker. It make's it hard to walk past the room and here him coughing and knowing he's dying that he's never gonna get better , the cancer's killing him. Everyday I bare and grin the pain in my chest because I don't wont people to know how it really hurts. I will going to my room and cry because I've held it in for so long. I sit and think God why does he have to be here living with us, I don't wont him here, I wont things to go back to the way they were and not have to see him dying. I hate having to serve him and not being able to do what I wont. It's not fair why me WHY? I sat down and read my bible and prayed I layed all the pain I was feeling on God and he told me because it's my plan this is going to strengthing you and where you are weak I will be strong in you. So I thought about it and said Ok God. So I sit there and serve him with a good spirit knowing this is what God wants for me. I now that when he's gone I will miss him and never walk past my brothers room and not think about him and the tv blairing but I have the hope of knowing I will see him again in heaven.  God is good and he will help me I just need all the prayer I can get during this time.

Winter pics

Here are some winter pics taken the other day.

Sorry :(

It feels as if it has been five thousand years since I last posted.  Life has been absoluetly crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!
With school, church and sick grandparents and just life, I haven't had a time to slow down and breathe, but know I do (breathe, that is) and  I am very happy to. It feels good to sit down and relax. I have missed blogging so much but have forgotten about it too at times.

OOPS!!!! I haven't even had time to work on my photography. I can't believe I've been doing school for almost four months now. It has just flown by and I haven't even noticed.  I am hoping to blog more in the days to come.

I hope everyone is having a good day so far.

Last Day of Swimming

I am sad to say that this was our last day of swimming. I will miss spending all day by the pool with friends. Oh, how I never want it to end. I never want summer to end, period.

I will miss how it feels to walk to the edge of the pool, take a deep breath and take a giant leap into the water, feeling it swallow you up. Then the rush of coming up all wet and having a giant smile on your face, and all the exciting chicken fights with friends. It's sad because I'm always the one that gets stuck on the bottom, but me and my partner Laura, will beat you in a heart beat. We have only lost twice all summer. Next, comes the three-man tower (Sorry, I don't have a picture of that) The three-man tower is three people stacked up on top of each other. Great fun.:)  It has to be one of my favorites.  Finally, when a little girl stands up on your shoulders, and dives headfirst into the water.

I will miss these long, seemingly, endless days at the pool. I have the hope of knowing, though, that there is always next year.

The Zoo

Recently, I had to the opportunity to go to the zoo, with a couple of friends from church. I haven't been to the zoo in years, so this was a real treat. I felt like a little kid running into the zoo squealing for joy because, I was going to see wild and exotic animals. Ever since I was  little I have always loved animals of all kinds, but when it comes to reptiles and sharks, I turn into a chicken, however.

I was very disappointed when I found out that the polar bears would not be out, due to their cage being rebuilt. For a few minutes, I was in the depths of despair, but got over it quickly, when I saw the lemurs.

It must have been a sight seeing all these teenage girls running here and there saying in high pitched voices  how cute that certain animal was.

When we got to the flamingos all of us were holding our noses and gaging at the horrid smell. I was sitting there saying, ''Next, let's go to a place where the animal don't smell like old shrimp.'' All in all the zoo was a wonderful adventure. I enjoyed every minute of it and would love to go again very soon.
